Sara Bezençon, pastry chef

Behind Elisabeth ,

There are ideas like seeds, ready to take root and grow.

We don't yet know what will become of them, but we feel they are alive. So we plant them, we water them... and we wait.

My name is Sara.
I've been dreaming about this project for over eight years. And today, I'm founding Elisabeth Café-Pâtisserie with a deep desire: to create something
real, simple and good. Something with flavor, with meaning, and that invites you to slow down a little.

Elisabeth is my grandmother's first name.
She is a source of inspiration in my life: through her simplicity, her generosity, her way of taking care of me... of us. This place bears her name, as a gentle nod to everything she passed on to me.

Behind this project, you will find me: a curious, sensitive person, a bit of a jack-of-all-trades, passionate about beautiful things made with the heart, the hands, and the time it takes. I love what delicately carries the trace of time - an object, a detail, a memory - and softly tells a story.

This project was'nt born from a perfect plan, but from a need for authenticity.
From a desire to bring together craftsmanship, to collaborate with passionate people, to work with what the land and the seasons offer us... and above all, to share. Because at the heart of it all, that's what drives me: creating connections.
Between gestures, between people, between ideas.

Thank you for being here. Take your time, step through the door whenever you feel like it. And if a little spark lights up inside you as you discover my world, then I’ll know I’ve done what I set out to do.
